Washington
We spent a day in our friends drive-way in Goldendale. Visited, ate and played a game of cards which Cheryl(john's sister) won because she was new to the game. Arrived here at our spot on the Hood River, in Pasco, Wa. We are under the trees with lots of grass around. After setting up we drove the 10 miles up to where Denny & Mary(friends) are working for the summer. We went to the Burbank Bar and had a taco lunch special which was real good and the price was right. We went to the movies yesterday as it was real hot in the high 90"s and saw Jersey Boys. We have picked our Royal Ann Cherries (the yellow ones) for $1.50 a pound, visited the Preston Winery which now has a different name and not like it use to be, visited the Merchentile Market and tasted all their goodies. Today is suppose to be another hot day but looks like its like that all along the Western States, except for home because we aren't there.

Reno & Shingletown
Mon June 23rd We arrived in Sparks, Nevada for a short visit with my brother. We went to breakfast at Denny's and us girls got our nails and pedicures done while John shopped at Sportsman Outlet. We found a Hobby Lobby and checked it out too! We went to a new theater in the shopping center by our park. It was a great experience-we had leather recliner chairs with enough room for people to walk by still. Tables for setting your drinks and goodies-they even sold beer and wine in glasses. I fixed dinner for my brother-he wanted chicken and rice like my Mom fixed. We ate at a New York Pizza place which was pretty good. When we came out the sky was just beautiful with pink and purple clouds.
Thurs we arrived at Shingletown KOA. We has a premium spot with our own patio, BBQ, table and chairs. We ate most of the time with John"s sister Sandy and husband Ralph. We fixed dinner at our place one night so we could enjoy the patio and had a fire afterward. Enjoyed an ice cream social and a pancake breakfast which KOA"S usually do during the summer. The weather was just perfect and enjoyed the visits..

Summer Travels 2014
We started our summer trip with a week tour of New York with our son Terry, Kourtney, their sons Troy and Travis and our daughter-in-laws Lori and Leandra and Kourtney's parents. We were busy every day and saw all the tourist places, learned how to ride the subways and walked our legs off. Got home did laundry and finished packing the motorhome and left for family reunion in Auburn, Calif. It was great seeing everybody and catching up.
